Conversing with the fey in Scotland inspired Scott to write about the fey not as fairies at the bottom of the garden concerned with which court they belong in, but as the complicated and alien creatures that they are. Fey logic is not human logic. It’s at once beautiful and dangerous and much in between.
He is also a visual effects artist and supervisor who has worked on over fifty features, television, and streaming productions including ‘Life of Pi’, Peter Jackson’s ‘King Kong’, ‘Doom Patrol’, and ‘Twisted Metal’.
When Scott isn’t searching for a unique single malt scotch, he’s deciding which gothic daemon would look best in the front room. He lives in Southern California with his wife and a cat-sized dog.
